Oumaima is a PhD student with a Master’s degree in Biomedical Images and Signals Processing from Aix-Marseille University. She completed her Master's end-of-study internship focused on Artificial Intelligence based segmentation of cerebral structures in the mouse brain. Her current PhD research involves the use of lung MRI to image the pulmonary distribution of surfactants administered to premature infants to treat respiratory distress syndrome as part of the ENDOSURF research programme.
